Jah is a 20-year-old artist based in Atlanta, Georgia who is journeying through life inspired by love, light, and creativity. Jah works mainly with acrylic and prefers collaging different worlds to create a narrative which in his words, “is a more accurate depiction of what life is in the form of painting.” His heavy focus on polarity from the conscious, unconscious, spirit world , and material world enables an enlightened perspective for the observer. Jah’s work has been exhibited alongside Jean-Michel Basquiat and has shown locally as well as internationally. His artistic influences include artists from the surrealist, indigenous, and pop traditions.
