Great Horned Owl Mask

Created at a time when people were advised to stay inside their homes and were edged out of the comfort of their usual tools of escaping from themselves. Forced to look inside to seek higher knowledge and or a higher version of who they actually are . In parallel to this piece the viewer is forced to look through ( hence “saw through” ) the cage to see the owl mask as the owl is forced to look through the cage to see the viewer , hinting at the United bind between yourself and your higher self and the internal quest that is required to find it.
